More than 1,360 independent school business officers, heads of school, and leaders in operational areas from human resources to technology to facilities, along with corporate sponsors and 120 exhibitors whose products support NBOA members' work, converged on Nashville's Gaylord Opryland resort last week for NBOA's biggest-ever Annual Meeting.
Session handouts are available for attendees on the Annual Meeting website. Recordings of all sessions, along with executive summaries of select sessions and videos of keynote presentations, will be available to attendees in early April.
Rhonda Durham (photo at top), an independent school teacher, admissions director and head of school before becoming the ISAS executive director, summarized business officers' work aptly in her remarks at the Tuesday Awards Luncheon. “Your work is rewarding — and hard. Stay tight in your forged connections! Continue to count on each other for thoughtful advice, steadfast encouragement, motivating insights, and shared discoveries. YOU keep giving outstanding support to independent schools.”
More feedback from meeting attendees is shared below.
