Developing NBOA.org has been a significant undertaking for the past two years. Central to this process was hearing from you on “what worked” about the old site and “what didn’t.” We were very purposeful about collecting member feedback through surveys, focus groups and beta tests to inform choices and help ensure the new site meets the current and future needs of business operations staff.

NBOA.org lets you do a keyword search of the entire site, not just a section of it. So, if you’re looking for information about enrollment contracts, you’ll find resources in the library plus in Net Assets, webinars and Annual Meeting presentations. We are also using first-in-class platforms to support our job boards (now called NBOA CareerHQ) and forums (now NBOA Connect). What’s more, NBOA.org is fully optimized for smartphones and tablets. Using NBOA Connect, you’ll be able to easily reply to discussions or start new discussions from the palm of your hand.

What business officers may appreciate most about the site is a time- and money-saving efficiency you’ll never see: NBOA.org is fully integrated with our association management database. In other words, the interaction you have registering for an NBOA program or updating your school’s contact information is automatically updated in our database without generating paperwork or taking up valuable staff time.

In other words, NBOA.org doesn’t just look different from NBOA.net. It is different. It is better.

I invite you to explore NBOA.org. Use your existing password, but do update your profile on NBOA Connect. (If you already have a LinkedIn profile, you can import it with the touch of a button.) While in NBOA Connect, feel free to adjust your subscriptions from the daily digest default to real-time, if you wish. Most of all, take advantage of this premier national resource designed to support your professional success and advance business excellence at your independent school.

I’ll see you online!
