Educational facility planning is an important aspect of my position. As such, I rely on a mobile app called PlanGrid to identify, communicate and address daily opportunities and challenges in building and remodeling educational facilities – especially as they relate to adding new wiring, technology, data centers, and classrooms.
PlanGrid is a software designed for tracking all things related to managing construction projects. This web- and mobile-friendly platform provides real-time updates, and collects information such as field markups, construction photos and issues that we need to discuss during weekly construction meetings.
PlanGrid is inexpensive and the learning curve is minimal. The value created in using it is extremely high. I recommend it as a strategic partner for anyone involved in construction or educational facility planning.
