Noting that professional runners must rest their leg muscles and carpenters their hands, he points out that those using their brain in their job should rest it as well. "For the knowledge worker, that means large chunks of unstructured time spent doing nothing... Some of the most successful creative workers I know appear way more lazy than busy, at least at first glance."
