Are Schools Requiring Masks?: New Survey Findings

(From NBOA)  A recent informal survey conducted through NBOA Connect found that the vast majority (97%) of NBOA member schools will require faculty and staff to wear masks. About half of responding schools (48%) are requiring all students to wear masks, while 38% are requiring some students to wear masks, and fewer (13%) are not requiring students to wear masks. Asked if their schools will be providing masks, most respondents indicated that they will do so for at least some members of the community. For example, 28% said they would provide masks only to employees, compared to 5% who said they will provide masks to all students.
