(from the Harvard Business Review) The rising incidence and severity of cyber breaches is exposing what's often a dangerous disconnect between organizational chief financial officers and cyber security threats. The wider the gap, the greater the risk of incidents that can cost organizations enormously in terms of cleanup, reputational damage and productivity. Organizations that invest more in IT security experience fewer breaches, but CFOs and other top organizational leaders must be active members of security teams to make these efforts stick.
