(from Forbes) With cold and flu season settling in, here are four ways to encourage wellness in the office, not just during winter but year-round.
1. Centralize items like trash cans, recycling bins and printers to a few common areas and encourage staff to get up from their desks with greater regularity.
2. Place water coolers in common areas to make it easier for employees to stay hydrated and encourage movement.
3. Make your next meeting a walking one.
4. Set an example by taking part in as many health initiatives in the organization as possible or take the lead on a few new ones.
