Fertility Benefits on the Rise

(From HR Dive) Fertility benefits are now offered by 42% of U.S. employers, up from 30% in 2020, according to the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. Fertility medications and in vitro fertilization are the most common offerings. Surveys by Maven and Business Group on Health found that 63% to 86% of employers plan to increase family health benefits in the coming years. Fertility benefits are valued for their role in employee retention and recruitment, with more than one-third of workers considering leaving a job due to inadequate family benefits, and 65% willing to switch jobs for better offerings.
