In looking for other ways to foot the college tuition bill, more than 130,000 students turned to the social fundraising platform GoFundMe in the last three years, raising $60 million for tuition and related expenses from more than 850,000 donations. GoFundMe released this and other data in a guidebook designed to help students and families launch their own social fundraising campaigns.
