Mobile Browsing Continues to Grow

Nov 15, 2018, 1:35 PM

(from ICEF Monitor) Global social media growth is up 10 percent over last year, and more people are accessing social media via their phones. Users are five times more likely to access the internet via phones than computers or tablets, and mobile accounts for more than half of all global web traffic, according to Google’s latest Consumer Barometer survey. The implication is that designing mobile-optimized websites is crucial. While Facebook continues to be the leading social media platform overall, advertisers there are now reaching 3 million fewer 13 to 17-year-olds now compared to July 2018.
