(From Forbes) Baby boomers are set to pass an unprecedented amount of wealth onto charitable foundations rather than to their children over the coming decades, say wealth advisers. Anita Choudhrie, a leading philanthropist, notes that many baby boomers, "want to leave a legacy in memory of their upbringing and heritage." For this generation, legacy is most likely to be translated into education, art and culture. Almost nine in every 10 such individuals direct at least part of their philanthropic efforts to this area according to a report from Wealth-X.
