NAIS-NBOA Data Collection Collaboration

(From NBOA) NBOA is excited to announce a formal collaboration with the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) to collect financial operations data together. Beginning this summer, your school will enter data in NAIS’s Data and Analysis for School Leadership (DASL) that will feed reporting in both DASL and NBOA’s Business Intelligence for Independent Schools (BIIS). The timeline for entering financial operations data will be:

• Main DASL data entry: mid-June through early November
• Financial operations data entry: mid-October through late-November
• Most schools receive their audited financials in the fall, so this new timetable for data entry means that the data entered will be more accurate and complete, bettering your opportunities for meaningful benchmarking.
