New I-9 Takes Effect September 18

(from Seyfarth) Effective September 18, all U.S. employers must use a revised version of Form I-9 to verify identity and employment authorization of new hires. Issued by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services on July 17, the new I-9 has no substantive changes from the last form revision, but it does include a few minor modifications. It bears the revision date of 07/17/17 N.
