(from Society of Human Resources Management) OSHA has withdrawn its emergency temporary standard that would require employees of large employers to either get vaccinated against COVID-19 or regularly test. Because the Supreme Court ruled against it earlier this year, the current ETS will not become the basis of a permanent standard, but OSHA may seek to narrow the rule to apply to certain high-hazard industries. Employers may see a new standard later in 2022. OSHA will continue to inspect employer worksites for COVID-19 safety under the agency's current standards.
