Private College Tuition Increases Stay Under 4%

(From Forbes) According to the College Board’s Trends in College Pricing and Student Aid report, U.S. public college tuition increases remained below inflation in 2024-25, continuing a trend from the pandemic. Average published tuition rose by 2.7% for public four-year residents and 2.5% for public two-year in-district students. Private nonprofit tuition increased by 3.9%. Over the past decade, inflation-adjusted tuition fell by 9% for public two-year colleges and 4% for public four-year institutions.
