Project Based Learning for Faculty & Staff

It's not just students who benefit from project based learning and a flipped classroom. Faculty and staff are more engaged in professional development activities when they are engaged with authentic problems and set their own goals for learning. Opportunities to reflect and critique the learning process and participate in a capstone activity also enhance results. The Montour School District in Pennsylvania has tried these techniques and participation on its digital learning network has increased 600 percent.
