(From HR Dive) Despite widespread adoption of generative AI tools in workplaces, significant productivity gains remain elusive, according to a Jan. 16 report from the Oliver Wyman Forum at the World Economic Forum in Davos. While over half of global employees use generative AI, the report emphasizes the need for training to unlock productivity benefits. Meanwhile, the demand for job candidates with generative AI skills has surged, with a more than 1,800% increase in job postings from 2022 to 2023, particularly in roles like data scientists and software engineers.
