(From Campus Safety) Over 4 million records containing highly sensitive school emergency plans and security documents from U.S. schools were recently discovered by an ethical cybersecurity researcher. Linked to Raptor Technologies, the data included evacuation plans, broken lock locations, non-functional security cameras, building vulnerabilities, threat reports, safety drills, medical records, court documents, and school shooting response plans. Although no evidence of misuse exists, the incident underscores the potential risk if such sensitive data falls into the wrong hands.
