(from NPR) After the new overtime thresholds were overturned last month, some large employers have opted to rescind pay raises, unsettling the impacted employees. An employee at the Ohio State University, one such institution, felt the administrative decision showed that "We don't value you. What you're doing is not worth the increase." It's unclear what the Trump administration will do when it comes into office next year. Project 2025, the conservative blueprint for a second Trump administration, proposes dramatically reducing the number of workers earning overtime pay.
