(From SHRM) For the first year in more than a decade, the percentage of engaged workers in the U.S. declined in 2021. According to Gallup, only 34% of the 57,022 full- and part-time employees surveyed by the analytics and consulting firm reported feeling engaged at work, while 16% said they were actively disengaged in their work and workplace. This figure has since slipped to 36%.
