Perhaps now more than ever independent schools are facing complex and protracted dealings with employees and families that undermine a school’s mission and values. While separation of these individuals from the community may become a necessary goal, getting to that point, while managing potential legal and community relations obstacles, can seem like an insurmountable task. This session will focus on the essential frameworks that schools should consider implementing to guide and support them through these endeavors. This session will incorporate real life scenarios, enabling attendees to collaborate and share various approaches to successfully navigate these situations.

Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will learn strategies for handling challenging and demanding parents, families, and employees.
