After two years at KPMG as an auditor, Chris started at Princeton Day School as the Asst. Director of Finance in 1995. He became the Chief Financial Officer at The John Cooper School in July 2011. He is fortunate to lead a great team in the Business Office, Buildings & Grounds, Custodial Services, Dining Services and Security. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting, an MBA and is a CPA.

Christine is an experienced Human Resources professional with over 25 years of expertise in the field. Holding both the PHR (Professional in Human Resources) and SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management - Certified Professional) certifications, Christine has developed a deep understanding of HR management, talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Sam Houston State University in 1998. In 2013, Christine was hired as the first Director of Human Resources at The John Cooper School, where she has played a key role in shaping the school’s HR strategies, improving employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting organizational growth through effective HR leadership.

Amelia Reed, SHRM-CP, is the Human Resource Manager for Presbyterian School in Houston, TX. Amelia, with more than 8 years’ experience in Human Resources, joined Presbyterian School in the fall of 2019. Amelia started her career with a focus in HR compliance, including from the very start being responsible for the development and implementation of Employment Documentation Standards and Compliance. She loves to get into tedious details when it comes to anything human resources, payroll or benefits related, to learn best practices and to educate others. One of her favorite responsibilities is her ability to partner with Presbyterian School faculty and staff, providing education, assistance and support with regards to employment policies, rights and benefits to better support employees through their employment and life needs. Amelia has served on NBOA's volunteer Human Resource Council from July 2021 to present, serving the 2023 - 2024 term as the HR Council Chair.
