Advancing Equity and Inclusion Across School Teams and Departments

NBOA’s Equity and Inclusion Inventory is a tool to help independent school professionals assess the inclusivity of policies and processes in governance, operations, business, advancement and enrollment. Simple checklists help leaders understand opportunities for equity and inclusion in departmental practices and provide thought-provoking options for deepening equity and inclusion work.

Join the designers of the Equity and Inclusion Inventory for a conversation about using the tool to assess how inclusive your departmental practices are and what follow up actions may be appropriate. School administrator and diversity practitioner, Jen Cort, will be joining NBOA’s senior director of human resources programs, Amber Stockham, to offer insights and solutions for sensitive and effective approaches to this complex topic in a diverse community. Learn ways to implement findings to cultivate the most welcoming environment possible for all community members.

Learning Objective(s):

  • Learn ways to implement findings to cultivate the most welcoming environment possible for all community members.
Note: This workshop is limited to NBOA members only. Access to the Equity and Inclusion Inventory tool is a benefit of membership.
