This session would be an opportunity for attendees to learn about how Tabor Academy is reviewing and evaluating the right size of the school to ensure the long-term sustainability of the financial and strategic model.  Many schools are facing the new reality of changing demographics and the reduction of the number of families that can afford a boarding / independent school experience for their children.  Tabor is working on a new strategic plan called Tabor 150 where the review of determining the right size of the school is front and center of this important work.

Learning Objectives: Participants will learn about a tangible case study that is proactively seeking to determine the right size of their learning institution.  Determining the right size of a school directly impacts every department within a school, ranging from the expectations on the: admissions and advancement teams, academic departments, residential life, athletics, co-curriculars, faculty workload, daily schedule, facilities, operations, administration, and so on.
