Employee supervision is the first principle of effectively leading a department and ensuring the success of your school. This three and a half hour private virtual workshop is designed for schools that want to deepen their supervisors’ understanding of workforce management best practices and assure strong performance from direct reports, while complying with legal obligations related to performance management, employee leave, hiring and communications. Participants will also learn effective ways to develop and motivate personnel and manage conflict while building trust and a culture of belonging. All attendees will be provided with a quick-reference PDF to keep.
The price for this workshop is $3,150 for member schools and $4,400 for nonmembers. As a part of the planning for the workshop, the instructor will meet virtually with the head of school and the individual responsible for human resources administration in order to learn more about the school’s human resources practices and policies as well as the administration’s concerns and strategic focus. Following this meeting, the instructor will tailor the workshop offering to reflect these priorities.
