Amber McKeen, MSW, MPH is a Risk Consultant at Praesidium specializing in working with independent K12 schools. McKeen’s passion for abuse prevention runs deep, spending nearly her entire professional career over the last 15 years working to prevent child abuse in various capacities. McKeen’s most recent role prior to joining the fantastic team at Praesidium was with the CDC Foundation, leading a highly skilled team of CDC scientists to update and expand CDC’s 2007 publication “Preventing Child Sexual Abuse in Youth Serving Organizations: Getting Started on Policies and Procedures”. McKeen has planned and provided dynamic trainings to over 30,000 professionals across hundreds of live and online events. McKeen truly believes in Praesidium’s mission to prevent abuse of children and vulnerable adults and enjoys working with schools to find dynamic solutions to foster a culture of safety.
