Whitney Johnson assumed the role of chief operating and financial officer at Colorado Academy in 2022. She has extensive experience in all aspects of independent school business, including human resources, accounting, budgeting, finance, facility operations, risk management and employment law. Johnson's prior roles include serving as CFO at the Ensworth School in Nashville, Tennessee, and as director of finance and human resources at the Hockaday School in Dallas. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Central Arkansas and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Arkansas, as well as certifications from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy and Society of Human Resource Management.
